backup

Just checked the tools available for backuping my system. I have in the past successfully used backintime and dejadup (Using 2 different tools is an insurance against failure of one of them)

Seemed the available tools in the repository are heavy (non educated opinion: I just tried backuppc and could not make it run without reading the doc)

Trixar, you asked a while ago if there would be some tools that would make sense to port to Slitaz, what about making one of those (or both) available, if this is not too much work ?

Or any other easy to use backup tool handling increments and automation.

I agree with the opinion expressed above. A port of a simple app like sbackup would be great. While backuppc appears to be a comprehensive tool configuring it is not easy.

fwiw i successfully converted and used luckybackup from its  .deb package.

This could be a place to start with (certainly better than nothing).

It is even simpler than sbackup.

It seemed to me neither handle increments in a satisfactory manner however.
