more hdd instalation problems

so ive installed slitaz 3.0 loram onto a 128mb laptop

when i boot it just takes me to a command prompt it doesnt make it to a gui

the command prompt just asked for a login name and password, if i put them in it takes me to another command prompt

Im a totasl noob, any simple solutions?

What happens if you type startx after logging in?

Alright and what does [c]cat /root/.xsession[/c] say?
