I get the following error message in my Xorg.0.log
(==) Log file: "/var/log/Xorg.0.log", Time: Fri Sep 16 21:55:35 2011
(==) Using config file: "/etc/X11/xorg.conf"
(==) Using config directory: "/etc/X11/xorg.conf.d"
(EE) R128(0): No DFP detected
error setting MTRR (base = 0xf8000000, size = 0x01000000, type = 1) Invalid argument (22)
I have entered the monitor details in /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/50-Monitor.conf file but the system information fails to recognize the monitor.
By the way I am running R128 video device driver (on 2.6.37) and there is no problem whatsoever with the display itself.
Any ideas?
Thanks

No Digital Flat Panel detected is a hardware error. The r128 driver is unable to read ExtendedDisplayIdentificationData a.k.a. Plug-N-Play information from your display.
This information is burned into a ReadOnlyMemory chip inside the display when it's manufactured.
No user configuration will get rid of the error.
