trouble installing brother printer DCP-165c

dear all,

since i started to use, i try to install my brother DCP-165c onto my SliTaz-4.0 os but without success.

does anybody knows, how to install this printer for non-experts?

Hi, if you haven't done so already starting point will be to check out the following link.

You would need to install cups, configure cups as per instructions and then  install gutenprint and ufr2.

Hope this is useful.

EDIT: gutenprint and ufr2 is for Cannon which is the topic of your other post. There is a separate section on how to install Brother USB printers towards the end of the doco mentioned above.
