hm, too few icons in the top tray after actualization 4.0 rolling

Hi

After actualization, new kernel, new this, new that, and new presentation of the desktop, our workspace. Only a minimum quantity of icons at the left side of the tray on top (start, Screen1, Screen2, it is all what is to find at the left side; the right side did become better: sound level, network, processor, clock and quit; but quit in 4 steps is not ideal at all! I would wish for me a direct "reboot" in one or at least 2 steps, as I often reboot each day), no tray any more at the bottom (better so!)

Where can I find a quick guide how to restore my old desktop without to have to learn all this uninviting stuff (::) ?

Ctrl+Alt+Del normally reboots a system, one easy step.
