Just found out the method to get my avatar displayed here (which is creating a gravatar account). ;-)

I found a hint in this direction by searching through the forum for the keyword 'avatar'.

The way to do this may be obvious to south europeans but I severely missed explantory text in english. Most of the menu's are in spanish or italian or something very similar to that, not french though. Eventually I managed to click the right buttons and it works now but there certainly is room for improvement here.
