Is there soon to be a new version?

I think I saw somewhere that version 5 was being worked on.

How far along is this project?

Will it also be available in 64 bit?

Will it be issued as a hybrid iso?

Thanks for any info regarding this.

The answer to all those is 'Maybe'.

Traditionally, a new SliTaz version should come out annually at the end of March, but for SliTaz 4 it took 2 years. Pankso tends to lead the charge on this, but he's been absent. We are close to a release however, mostly because of kultex's efforts in pushing for a stable cooking version. If we can implement his changes and fix the minor boot issue, then there will be a SliTaz 5 version within a month or two's time.
