Does Slitaz include microcode.ctl utility ?

Just wondering if I can extract more juice from my Intel PII.

No,using a microcode_ctl utility requires CONFIG_MICROCODE=Y

The kernel option to use microcode_ctl is not set:

Slitaz-4.0 on my computer:

root@slitaz:/home/tux# zcat /proc/config.gz | grep CONFIG_MICROCODE

# CONFIG_MICROCODE is not set

Do you think this can be set to Y by default ?

Maybe old and new CPU´s may benefit from this.
