Install w3m.0.5.3.tar.gz How Do I Do this??

w3m is a browser through the terminal. How do I install this?? I've herd of the command            "tazpkg convert" but terminal replys "unsupported format". How I do this??

You can't use tazpkg convert to change source code into a package. You need to compile it. I'm not sure where this rumour came from, but it's seems to pop up a lot along with the rumour that puppy can do this - neither of which is true.

Also why use w3m when you could use Links?

haha i just looked up links and downloaded it. Well the how do I compile it?

Hi Appdude13,

Click the link to download w3m-0.5.3.tazpkg,run the command to install.

Links is compiled/packaged in the repo,the command will download/install.

Compiled for SliTaz 4.0 :

[c]# tazpkg install[/c] w3m-0.5.3.tazpkg

[c]# tazpkg -gi links[/c]
