Here is early preview of interesting file manager called Marlin.
Currently its of early stage on my home SliTaz (I use Kult-ex's Rolling ISO to start it).
Today I've compiled Marlin without errors, its a victory
It starts, but some icons are missing, and Marlin can't see its plugins, sometimes it shows thumbnails but sometimes no, errors in terminal… But I like idea and look & feel of this file manager!
By the way, Marlin is GTK+3 application, so you'll not see it in official SliTaz 5.0, but we have time to include it to 6.0

It's part of the Elementary Desktop enviroment and written in Vala. Check out the other components because it's like GNOME in many ways. Maybe we should write a few of our own components in Vala like Ubuntu did with Unity.
