Few month ago, it was simple to boot from ISO, any flavour, and simple to install, (by Slitaz Panel). And I was very happy
now:
Slitaz Panel have not menu "installation";
Slitaz Installer "can not find rootfs.gz", but I created rootfs.gz!
how to install?
And:
how to boot from iso?
http://doc.slitaz.org/en:guides:frugal say : (about menu.lst)
title SliTaz cooking
map (hd0,0)/boot/slitaz-cooking.iso (hd1)
map --hook
kernel (hd1)/boot/bzImage rw root=/dev/null vga=normal
initrd (hd1)/boot/rootfs.gz
it works only if:
map --mem --heads=0 --sectors-per-track=0 (hd0,0)/boot/slitaz-cooking.iso (hd1)
and only if "cooking" ISO
another iso I can not boot. Neither "rolling", nor "justx", no "stable", no "core"...
I was trying different ways, but not success. Grub can not "chainload", or kernel panic, or something similar
PLEASE
return installer to Slitaz Panel
return possibility to boot from ISO, by Grub4Dos

Hi Graybird:
Thanks for the report.
This should be a cooking problem only as long as slitaz-tools is not changed in the 4.0 repository.
The installer files were removed from slitaz-tools package into 2 new packages tazinst and tazinst-gui
Someone forgot to add these new tazpkgs to the flavors package.list so they were not included on the isos.
