installation crashes (stops) at the sound card probe

After enjoying the live cd i tried to install slitaz but only got as far as the sound card probe (the system just stops showing 5% on the gui probe). Is there a way to bypass this until it's installed, maybe with a boot parameter?.Thanks to anyone who can help me.

tried sound=noconf but no difference, it still tried a sound card probe and crashed.I await other suggestions.Bear in mind i am a beginner so if anything complicated please explain clearly, thanks.

Same for me...any solution with this? I tried to use the cooking version...my pc is an old p3

change the lines setting locale with setting up the soundcard in system.sh should solve the problem

if the problem still exists, try to add

sleep 2

before sound card configuration
