i have used slitaz 3.0 in my desktop and notebook pavillion and found it GREAT.
sadly i never managed to boot in my aod250-1197. The best i can get is boot in text mode
only using "cooking" iso, the graphic mode has no horizontal sync.
Is there a way to input horizontal sync parameters in boot?
any suggestions?
tks..... its really a great distribution

and I think the this iso http://mirror.slitaz.org/iso/undigest/slitaz-xorg-light.iso should boot without installing the intel driver

If slitaz is connected to internet, login as root, password root
#tazx
xorg Install or reconfigure xorg/OK
Use up/dn arrow keys to choose intel/OK
#/etc/init.d/slim start

thanks mojo
the suggested iso by kultex worked fine, but in 640x480 screen mode.
i need now: 1) configure my wireless BCM4312 and then
2) connect to internet to configure that intel driver as you said
i'll try that and post the results.
those mirrors you suggested are very good
thanks a lot

trying to configure the wireless card i have 2 problems:
1 - I tried the "easy way", the "hard way" and lots more and could not configure it.
sometimes its "not configured in modules.dep", sometimes no error reported but doesn't work.
after so many tries it worked, but I can not configure it again in a new installation
2 - It works OK if the AP is open, but if there's a key it will not conect to AP. tried to edit
wpa_suplicant.conf and other files but unsuccessfully.
any suggestion will be appreciated

tks a lot mojo
I'll have a close look at your sugestion above, it may take time but i will work it out
The 2nd problem i mentioned before was solved. The problem is that my internet access is
wireless and i have a password such as "mypassword" but to configure it in slitaz the
pwd should be entered in HEX... and here my suggestion:
I understand that slitaz is meant to be small and great, and IT IS. (love it).
as slitaz dont warn about wrong pwd in wireless configuration one may think its not working
in spite of have typed the right pwd .
if where you enter the key configuration was written "Key(hex)" lot of trouble may be avoided.
I dont have much time left to connect in internet but i have some spare time, if i can help
in any way to slitaz 'cause'... let me know.
tks a lot

@hemund: You could just install wicd for WiFi. It's more specifically designed than the WiFi script written for SliTaz.
