Possible risk of filesystem problems ?

I have seen with SliTaz 4 that / gets remounted as ext2 at boot time, i think in rcS.conf

Wouldn't it be safer to mount it as ext4 or at most ext4 with writeback option ?

I am worried about possible long term consequences. (Agreed, not very likely.... but still...)
