Hi,
we use a repo which forces us to use subversion file format version 10 of subversion 1.6
How do I install subversion 1.6 ?
What is the bet way to do that?
I installed stable-4.0 and practically everything needed for web applciation development setup except subversion of the right version.
Do I have to enable another repository?
Or should I build from source?
If yes, then, can you point me to some place where I can get a howto for the same?
Independently, I would like to say that Slitaz looks and works pretty nice.
Thanks in advance,
Best regards,
sleekaz

Post a download link to the subversion source code you need compiled/packaged for slitaz 4.0

Well, it turns out I need 1.6.11.
Here is the link -
[c]http://archive.apache.org/dist/subversion/subversion-1.6.11.tar.gz[/c]
[c]http://archive.apache.org/dist/subversion/[/c] gives the entire archived versions listing.

Hi mojo,
thank you for the effort.
UPDATE:
I found a copy I had downloaded yesterday and it works as expected.
Many thanks!

However, I've simply been unable to download the file from that link despite trying several times (browser and wget)
[c][sleekaz@pc ~]$ wget http://people.slitaz.org/~mojo/stuff/subversion-1.6.11.tazpkg

and stays there.
Could you post it to some other file share or maybe send it as an email attachment?
Or better if you could point me to how to build from source - that would be educational as well and I could help in building packages in spare time.
