upgrade a system from version 2 to version 3

as stated above i attempted to upgrade a ver2 system to a ver3

it sat in the grub menu, i saw on the old forum

that this problem isnt unique to me {for once its not my noobiness, lol} something messes up the kernel

it further states there is a fix at-

but that link is apparently dead

also worth noting, i used the slitaz installer with the upgrade option to go from the aircrack-ng ver2 cooking version to current ver3

also sorry for near-spamming the forum since joining recently, my enthusiasm coupled with my noobiness is a bad combo

im changing to resolved as i simply went with clean install from ver 3, although im sure theres people out there who still have the kernel problem with upgrading, ty all
