Hello.
I had an up-to-date and working slitaz4,
and I have tried to :
tazpkg set-release cooking
a lot of time, but it always ending wrong ...
I'm starting the process with something like 130 free Mo on the "hdd";
after the not-so-good install (a lot of stuffs are broken), I still have free space;
I have at least 512 of ram on this machine;
I put the whole output of Sakura later, when it will work, answering myself.
Do you think it is a problem of space disk : there is not enough to begin a set-release ?

Bonjour.
Je ne parviens pas à passer avec succès, d'une Slitaz4 à une Cooking, avec la commande tazpkg set-release cooking;
J'ai 130 Mo de libres sur le disque avant de lancer le processus et il reste de l'espace quand il finit;
il y a au moins 512 de ram sur ces machines;
j'ai copié-collé la sortie sur sakura en pj, mais ça marche pas (?!) donc je joindrais plus tard ...
J'ai pas assez d'espace disque ou le problème est ailleurs ?[attachment=24905,1119]

There are too many differences to hope for a working system by updating a slitaz 4.0 install with the packages from pre-5.0 cooking repo. If you want to try cooking use the rolling iso.

Ok, thanks mojo !
The only acces on those thin client is to boot on usb, and after, make an install from that session, so they become "full light cheap personnal computer";
so, I can run a fresh live slitaz5(burned from .iso), and make from/with it a bootable key, and it could works ? Right ?

...yes it works fine :-)
I now have a slitaz rolling usb :-)
For now, I can't get rolling installed from usb to hdd with tazpanel, but I must try again.
Thanks all !
