How do I edit posts?

I see that the message can be edited within a certain time. And then the edit button disappears. And if I found a mistake in two days? How to fix?

And if you need to fix just one letter? We get two identical messages with a difference of one letter.

I made a mistake in a word, skipping the letter "ь" (this letter is not in the English alphabet). We have these errors are a sign of illiteracy.

And in the same message I have an American flag has a name ua.png (instead us.png). But no one has reported an error. I guess no one took my advice.
