Autologin in slitaz

It's easy!

#leafpad /etc/slim.conf

Find the line:

default_user tux

And to add the line:

auto_login yes

And save.

Although this line you can probably add anywhere.

Re: Autologin in slitaz

This option can also be modified in ControlBox (SliTaz 3) or in TazPanel (SliTaz Cooking).

Re: Autologin in slitaz

Black dog: There should be an option somewhere under the system menu. It has two requirements to work though, httpd, which comes with busybox, and tazweb to open it.

The problem is that it doesn't always work as planned. Sometimes you even have to install tazpanel to use it (with tazpkg get-install tazpanel). There has been some help with it on the forum before and you can read all about it at http://forum.slitaz.org/topic/new-to-slitaz-just-updated-all-and-lost-package-manager-whats-the-deal

Re: Autologin in slitaz

OK!

But I do not find it. Rather, I found the Edit button slim.konf. smile

TazPanel is not very good work. (I have a confusion of menu grub2 and grub-legacy).
