Unable to install Canon IP4000 USB printer

I am having some problems trying to install my Canon Pixma IP4000.

I have tried to follow the instructions in the documentation pages (http://doc.slitaz.org/en:guides:printer), and have installed CUPS, the gutenprint package, the foomatic packages, the hal-cups-utils package and the usbutils package.

However, when I try to add a printer I am only getting options for SCSI printers or HAL printers in the locally connected section. It is not listing any options for USB connected printers.

Where am I going wrong? :¬(
