slitaz-Fbsplash- erreur message et pas de terminal de secour pour lancer session

Bonjour a toutes et tous

cooking version

Voila, j ai voulu installer le paquet: slitaz- fbsplash par tazpanel.

ne connaissant pas ce paquet et trouvant l idée sympa d avoir un boot avec une petite image de fond...

bref...jai probablemnt installé trops vite, et oublié un autre paquet. !?

donc:

je boot...

puis ecran noir...pas de suite possible:

fbsplash: can't open /dev/fb0: no such file directory

=========================

le probleme c 'est que je ne peut pas avoir un terminal de secour pour desinstallé ce paquet et/ou le modifier etc...

le positif, c est que je suis en dual boot sous un autre gnu/Linux donc je peux acceder a tous mes fichiers

voila.

donc pour le moment:

deux choix possible:

-desintaller le fichier

- lui 'ouvrir' /dev/fb0

Configure tazfbsplash:

#tazpkg -gi slitaz-fbsplash

Xfbdev requires vga= line in boot option

vga chart: http://doc.slitaz.org/en:handbook:livecd

Edit from grub menu: screen=text vga=791 <=this worked on my hardware.

Login as root at console

tazfbsplash on

tazfbsplash test

Tazfbsplash works so I leave it on.

Start slim and permanently add vga=791 to grubs menu.lst,add slim back to /etc/rcS.conf RUN_DAEMONS=

If you can't get tazfbsplash test to work:

Reboot and try a different VGA=7xx number

If the splash test fails and you give up don't forget:

tazusbsplash off

Otherwise on the next reboot you may get locked out.

If your locked out boot another slitaz to the rescue and make FBSPLASH="no" in /etc/rcS.conf

Don't forget screen=text removes slim:

Add slim back to RUN_DAEMONS= of /etc/rcS.conf

Otherwise slim/Xserver won't auto start on next boot.

tazusbsplash is turned on/off and theme set in /etc/rcS.conf and started by /etc/init.d/rcS

Salut Mojo toujours au poste

en fait, ecran noir apres qqs lignes de boot avec ce fameux message

et Aucun terminal pour lancer des commandes.

le probleme est resolu maintenant.

en fait avant d installer ce programme, j avais ecrit dans:

/etc/rcS.conf

.....

# Graphical boot with fbsplash (To easily configure use: tazfbsplash)

FBSPLASH="yes"

FBSPLASH_THEME="slitaz"

.........

et je l ai remis par le fichiet initial

.....

# Graphical boot with fbsplash (To easily configure use: tazfbsplash)

FBSPLASH="no"

FBSPLASH_THEME="slitaz"

.............

probleme resolu mais toujours pas d image de fond.

je vais donc tester maintenat ta soluce.

Greetings Monjo, follow your script but I had no success. In the test works fine, but when the system starts, the progress bar hangs at about 20%. Do you have any tips?
