Hello Slitaz group,
First off great work with the distro, I have currently been able to hack my own install and automated the entire deployment. The plan is to use slitaz as the base for a small network monitoring system. This distro is perfect for our needs.
Now I have the distro with a bunch of our tools at about 250mb.. However was wondering is there an easy way to strip out packages involved in the 3.0 distro? I am trying to slim this up as much as possible.
The main items I need are only command line based utilities plus the handful we have added.
250mb is a great size, but the smaller the better.
Thanks again everyone!
What about using this flavor <slitaz-cooking-base.iso> available on mirrors like this one: ftp://mirror.switch.ch/mirror/slitaz/iso/cooking/flavors/
Then you can add what ever you need and generate your own iso.
Happy slitaz.
:-)
