Hi,
The beginning of this page: http://doc.slitaz.org/en:devnotes:new-tazwok-illustrated states this is an "out of date" wiki...
I am looking for documentation explaining precisely the purpose of every variable used in receipts. For example:
- BUILD_DEPENDS
- DEPENDS
- SUGGESTED
- SOURCE
- etc...
I know that some guys already spoke about it on this forum, but I am looking for the official document.
Any hint appreciated.
Cheers,

mojo,
sorry, but wiki pages is not an official documentation.
Pankso told me:
we should use the main website, static doc only modifiable by us and not any user on the wiki because this should be the official and only way to code (why I prefer html doc for cook, only one and official way to build packages).
totoetsasoeur,
you can find official cookutils docs:
[*]on your system (release): Application menu → Documentation → Cookutils Doc
[*]on wiki (latest): go to http://doc.slitaz.org/en:start then scroll down page to Manuals and click Cookutils manual or just click here: Cookutils manual
(As you can see, there is nothing about variables in the official docs).

Tazwok documentation is outdated because SliTaz use it no more. And switched Tazwok→Cookutils.
I think, number of receipts was really big, and (new) Cookutils is compatible with (old) Tazwok receipts. But it must be, there are nuances.

Past year I extracted the handbook from the dokuwiki pages, you can see it here:
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/493290/handbook/en/index.html
It's was intended to have official handbook and cookbook on main slitaz.org website. For me, it's much easier to keep track of changes on hg repos instead of wiki pages, so in my opinion at least those two books should be back on main site. Pankso even started a tiny CMS to handle it:
