Does anyone knows if it is possible to update progrmas that are getting old.
like vlc that in slitaz is in version 1.1.13 but the program is in version 2.0.1
If it's possible, how to?

SliTaz Cooking/Rolling have VLC version 2.0.5 (see receipt).
How to update VLC? Maybe, move to SliTaz Cooking/Rolling… Try if it runs on your hardware (get ISO, note that ISO can change/rolls every day).
Other way is to compile programs on SliTaz 4.0/Stable base, but using Cooking receipts (read more: Applications menu→Documentation→Cookutils Doc).
