Hello,
Just started using slitaz 4.0 recently and think it's superb. I did have Thunderbird working but today it stopped. I believe this is as a result of installing Flash.
I tried to run Thunderbird from the terminal and got a message saying "libssl3.so: version 'NSS_3.13.2' not found"
I found somewhere I can download it from (http://pkgs.org/download/libssl3.so) but I'm unsure which type i.e. Debian or what? If I do download it where do I place it, in usr/lib?
Is there another way to do this through tazpanel for example?
Thanks in advance.

Mr k,
[*]Search for libssl3.so file in the 4.0: http://pkgs.slitaz.org/search.sh?file=libssl3.so&version=s
[*]Seems like you need package named nss. Click "nss" link to download package.
[*]Go to folder where your package, double click it, enter root password, press "Install".
------ or ------------------------
[*]Search libssl3.so as above
[*]To install "nss" package: open terminal, type [c]su[/c] and enter root password; type next command: [c]tazpkg -gi nss[/c]
------ or ------------------------
[*]Search libssl3.so as above
[*]Enter TazPanel using root login and password
[*]Go to "Packages", enter "nss" to search field, press enter, click link "nss", press "Install" button.
I hope, nss package will solve your problem, because I don't use Thunderbird.

So I thought I'd worked it out:
booted slitaz from cd, found the file and copied it to my home directory, re-booted, copied the libssl3.so file to usr/lib and ran thunderbird.
No! Same message:
"XPCOMGlueLoad error for file /usr/lib/lib/thunderbird/libxpcom.so:
/usr/lib/libssl3.so: version 'NSS_3.13.2' not found (required by /usr/lib/thunderbird/libxul.so)
Couldn't load XPCOM."
What next?
Also, why can't I copy / paste from / to xterminal?
Thanks.

Thanks for quick reply Aleksej. I searched for nss in packages and I have nss but it's version 3.13.3 and Thunderbird wants version 3.13.2.
I did a brief internet search and the links / info seem quite in-depth.
How can I remove version 3.13.3 and install 3.13.2? I need this pretty quick as Thunderbird is my email client.
Is it easier just to re-install entire system? But then this might happen again. What about uninstalling Flash (as I think this caused the problem)? Is it definitely the nss version or is it that I've put the libssl3.so in the wrong place?
Lots of questions - sorry!

OK solved! Just realised that the packages showing in tazpanel with a green arrow are not necessarily installed.
So, I installed version 3.13.3 from tazpanel and thunderbird is working again.
Thanks for your help!
