Alternative web browser

Lately I found a QtWeb browser:

[c]http://www.qtweb.net/[/c]

Anyone uset this application and could recoomend or advice against it?

Nice feature is that no installation is needed, you just need to execute ~11mb file. So far I didn't find anything regarding security...

Re: Alternative web browser

It would be nice to have a way to make softs portable in Slitaz.

If you want to put off weight your rootfs.gz, you can target your Live session to your HD installed slitaz with command

# tazpkg link

Re: Alternative web browser

I don't have Slitaz installed. I use only usb stick (frugal), which actually I find the biggest advantage of this distro smile

With this application you can do something similar : just make a symlink to the file on hdd.

Re: Alternative web browser

I like it - especially the portable bit smile. I found that Qupzilla is also a pretty good Qt based alternative, but it's kind of a pain to install.

Re: Alternative web browser

This is my attempt to package qupzilla on slitaz-4 and cooking should work.

IMHO the characters are too small, I suggest you install qtconfig and adjust them.
