For some reason we changed VGA cable some agents pc and bingo. Resolution is not going up more than 800x600.
When i tried slitaz 3 - VESA everything works well but with Slitaz4 deosnt. is it possible have slitaz 4 with VESA driver.
I use frugal installation on almost 150PC.

are you saying that only the cable between the PC and the screen changed ?

yeah, i just changed the cable. Problem is Slitaz XORG cant get EDID information. But vesa do. Thats why i am looking stable slitaz 4 vesa solution.

actually i downloaded that iso and im forcing myself to use it.
it fixed resolution but some problems came back when i was using slitaz 3.
Like mouse or keyboard not working sometimes, doesnt choose automaticly max resolution.
Im just trying to find way to fix problems giving manual EDID information.
Lets see.

Note : I can afford the buy new VGA cable. But i should find way to fix this problem. Windows 95 even works well with this cheap VGA Cable. As i think linux should also.

I was just surprised, that you are willing to downgrade your installation
to a rc-version or even worse Sz3,
which will bring you new/more/other problems to solve, if you know that the
easiest-- and timesaving-- solution is to change the cable.

i just start to use slitaz 4 xVesa solution, which fix my problem.
