Is any special procedure to install OSS4 on Slitaz ?
Have anyone managed to get installed properly ?
Thanks in advance for any support.

OSS4 requires building kernel modules using the distro it's being installed on.
Converting OSS4 packages from another distro won't work.
You must compile/install OSS4 from source code on running slitaz which at the minimum has slitaz-toolchain and linux-module-headers installed.

Many thanks mojo for your response.
Actually kernel modules are created after first reboot, even with converted package. OSS is working now with an external DAC on USB, but will not detect my internal card.
It is sounding much better than alsa and I'm happy with USB so far.

Actually I had to recompile kernel to enable OSS, as this is by default disabled in slitaz kernel.
Now my card is detected and I have sound.
Thanks again, mojo !
