Re: Easy way to make portable packages

It should work with the addition of a few extra packages internally. I've used similiarly packaged games (and in a way sakis3g does something like it for usb_modeswitch) with only the need for a missing core-utils command to be installed.

Huh ?

Indeed, i try to make mplayer-codecs portable beside mplayer, but it didn't work (mplayer did as it's an executable)

Re: Easy way to make portable packages

It works by extracting the required files to a temp folder and running the result. So you need to include the codecs in a way that the mplayer can find and use it.
