SliTaz 2014 fundraising!

Hi all,

As you may have see in our Mercurial we are working hard these day to publish a new Cooking the 5.0 hopefully in march. We also moved Tank to a dedicated server, we also have to pay for domain names and we would be happy to have some money for SliTaz at SolutionLinux in may 2014 at Pari. So here is the link to the new SliTaz 2014 fundraising:

Regards,

"For me this is the best little Linux distro"

Right on! In my Linux distro-hopping experience, SliTaz is by far the most lean Linux distro.

It's the only Linux distro that uses less than 500 MiB of HDD space! Even with a full-blown X.Org!

Uses so little HDD space that it makes Puppy look meh...

Re: SliTaz 2014 fundraising!

I've been using SliTaz for quite a while on and off, but with 5.0 coming out I hope to be using it more on than off, on many more machines (especially servers).

While my budget is low (and as such I may not be able to donate a lot, especially directly), I have decided to flattr the SliTaz project. Hopefully that'll be of at least some help to you guys smile

Meanwhile, I have sent a small donation, to help out.

Re: SliTaz 2014 fundraising!

Hello pankso, what is the status of Slitaz Fundraising ? Will it be carry over to 2015 ?

What do you think if we create such a endowment funds to support Slitaz development

in the future, make a simple business model.

Like this crowdsource site:

http://goo.gl/Ya5tsI

I think it would be interesting to see. You can register there to look around for a while, observing how the system works. I would say, this site has 'reinventing' the crowsource business model. It would be perfect for slitaz community because it wouldn't take much of your time and they love hacker to join them.

ps. I've been able to funds my personal project using this method alone.
