keyboard type rate

How to change keyboard typing rate in slitaz i can't find it anywhere only language layout settings

its a bit lagging and i need to change it a bit faster

do i need to install a certain package?

Hello

Launch sakura (menu Applications System tools) and type su then the password of root, then :

tazpkg search locale (to see what locales are available)

tazpkg -gi locale-sv (for instance, if you want swedish keyboard))

tazkeymap (to choose your locale)

Tell us if you have succeeded.

its not the keyboard layout i'm looking to change, i'm just trying to change keyboard typing rate / repeat in seconds between letters if i pressed the same letter for a while.

My keyboard is "English international with dead keys".

How do I install this keyboard on SliTaz 4.0?

slitaz 4

aplications > preferences > keyword mapping

also right click on task bar > add/remove panel items > add item > add > keyword layout switcher

but before last method do the following:

in /home/tux/.config/openbox/autostart.sh

add this line:

setxkbmap -option grp:alt_shift_toggle us,ru &

Restart X-server or reboot.

and check and you should switch between 2 different languages by pressing ALT + SHIFT

also make sure the syslinux.cfg (or isolinux.cfg) has "lang=EN kmap=US" in:

LABEL slitaz

KERNEL /boot/bzimage

APPEND initrd=/boot/rootfs.gz rw root=/dev/null vga=normal autologin lang=es_ES kmap=es
