I know Adobe have decided not to continue supporting AIR on Linux but I am perfectly happy with the current available versions for myself.
I can get the installer running but I hit a wall once I put in my root password:
"An error occurred while installing Adobe AIR. Installation may not be allowed by your administrator. Please contact your administrator."
Executing from /tmp/air.wZLS2J/setup.
All permissions are ticked on the bin file. Help please.

Missing libeggtray.so but I'm not sure where to get it?

adobe air requires GTK+ version 2.6
Slitaz Cooking has GTK+ version 2.24
I don't think SliTaz offers these requirements either:
Gnome/metacity or kde/KWin desktop.
Full compositing windowmanager with xserver extensions.
