And FYI: Slitaz Rolling 32bits
Hi,
Is there an error message when you try to run it from the terminal?
Hello,
In the terminal, when I try "amule", I see this message:
sh: amule: not found
I am not a specialist of packages but I think that the problem is that there is no file "amule" in /usr/bin/. Is that a problem in the package?
According to https://cook.slitaz.org/index.cgi?files=amule amule-2.3.2.tazpkg
does not install any amule
binary in /usr/bin/
but amulecmd
, amuled
, amuleweb
and e2dk
???
It's possible that amule-2.3.2.tazpkg
built on 2022-08-04 is broken. The one built on 2022-07-24 seems OK, maybe someone still have it in its cache...
Or maybe a dev could rebuild it (btw I saw that rel 2.3.3 has been released). If I find some time I'll try to do it.
Hi,
After check history hg between 2022-07-24 and 2022-08-04, i see change on wxWidgets bump 3.0.4 to 3.2.0.
When try to build amule i have same issue
extern/wxWidgets/listctrl.cpp:4864:5: error: 'OnScroll' is not a member of 'wxScrolledWindow'
With rebuild of wxWidgets 3.0.4, work fine, maybe need check and build new amule version.
At time you can retrieve amule packages with wxWidgets deps here (not need wxWidgets-dev) :
https://people.slitaz.org/~shann/amule-2.3.2

You're right, I found this information on the aMules'forum: aMule does not compile with wxWidgets 3.1 or higher.
@ R8
Here is the 2.3.3 release of aMule (I didn't test it but it compiled fine).
Whatever the version you choose, 2.3.2 or 2.3.3 you should
tazpkg -b wxWidget
before installing the aMule package.
Hi,
Thank you Ceel and shann. It works fine with aMule 2.3.3 and wxWidgets 3.0.4 :)
And I also blocked the package amule to avoid it is replaced by release 2.3.2 at next update.
