Check out this link http://forum.slitaz.org/topic/brasero-lib-modules-not-available#post-11504
I managed to get it going but could not get the DVD options working and found it was far easier and better to use the burner package that(Applications->Utilities->Burn CD/DVD) comes with Slitaz.

Another alternative might be graveman (though this is not a direct answer to your problem, which will probably be what gdesilva linked to...)

There is also xfburn. Both get close and both work well with SliTaz.

Just if you run into the same trouble as me:
graveman needs libao to identify empty cdroms for burning, (otherwise "currently no media" might persist)
I already contacted the package maintainer, but if you'd like to use graveman, you may want to add libao manually...

libao added to the receipt: http://hg.slitaz.org/wok-stable/rev/4b82e48376c7
Should be there by the next rebuild of the packages.

Using rolling: 2014-09-14
After installing brasero, it shows in the menu, but it doesn't run. Calling it from a terminal it displays the following message:
brasero: error while loading share libraries: libltd.so.7:cannot opening shared object file: no such file or directory.Note:-> Burn CD/DVD in version3 if I remember correctly, it didn't matter if you had the CD on the drive before calling the program. It blanks the CD and the GUI was more informative. Now if you closed the cd drive first and try to blank a CD it failed and said that the driver is busy. Blanking only works if you call the program first and then close the drive. Before it handled the situation better and it was more clear for new users.

As root
tazpkg search-pkgname libltd.so.7
will give you the list of packages where you can find the file. Then
tazpkg -gi one-of-these-packages
Should work.

Thanks Ceel for your prompt answer. But it seems that this library is missing. As root:
tazpkg search-pkgname libltd.so.7
Says that; 0 file found for: libltd.so.7
For now no big deal to me. I am continuing using Burn CD/DVD from the menu. I just wanted to report this.

Yes you're right, sorry. But you're wrong too: it's not libltd.so.7 that is missing but libltdl.so.7 ;-)
root@slitaz:/home/tux# tazpkg search-pkgname libltdl.so.7
Search result for package libltdl.so.7
================================================================================
libltdl
================================================================================
package found with file: libltdl.so.7root@slitaz:/home/tux# tazpkg -gi libltdl
will work.Posted 10 years ago # -
