Hi,
I'm running the rolling core 64 bit iso (would be happy wiith 32 bit but that panics early in the boot, - 64 bit works fine) on a laptop with Broadcom 43142 wireless. There is only a 32 bit wl.ko module in packages, so I thought I would build my own from Broadcom release, currently 6.30.223.271.
The build apparently works ok, less a few warnings, and produces a wl.ko. However when I try to modprobe it, it complains "builtin" and doesn't load.
So I can live without it by using a USB wireless I happen to have, but it would be nice to use the native hardware. Any suggestions on how to proceed? The current 32-bit wl.ko is too far out of date to support the 43142 anyway, so trying to fix the 32 bit wouldn't fix it out of the box. Any chance for an up-reved 64 bit wl.ko?
Regards,
Ulysses
