   How do you get flash on slitaz? ive installed it by doing su then root then get-flash-player then it installs but when i go into youtube it doesnt work plz help me. thank you for your time.fbjac01

   For Firefox you could do it manually

   1. Go to Adobe's flash player page (http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer)
   2. Download the tar.gz file
   3. Extract the tar.gz file (right-click on the file and choose Extract)
   4. Put the 'libflashplayer.so' file in the '/usr/lib/firefox-3.5.7/plugins' directory (or whatever your Firefox directory is called)

   Using Slitaz 3.0, what is the trick for Extracting a file (it doesn't show on right click)?

   Hm, for me when I right click on a .tar.gz file, in the file manager (pcman), I get an 'Extract' option in the context menu.

   You could try to do it manually by using
   'tar -xzf filename.tar.bz'

   To extract .rar files install the rar lib 'tazpkg get-install rar' then use 'rar e filename.rar'

   Surprise! There's the Extract option now on right click. Must have been in another context.

   To make flash work, now that I've downloaded the tar.gz file, I'd like to exctract it to the right folder, as per instructions above. Anyone know which folder? I use Slitaz 3.0. and Firefox 11.0, but don't see any folder for that version under my
   /usr/lib/ directory. I only have folders for

   /usr/lib/firefox-3.5.7/ and firefox-4.0.
   In the former folder I have no subfolders, while in the latter I have the following.

   /usr/lib/firefox-4.0/usr
   /usr/lib/firefox-4.0/updates
   /usr/lib/firefox-4.0/searchplugins
   /usr/lib/firefox-4.0/icons
   /usr/lib/firefox-4.0/extensions
   /usr/lib/firefox-4.0/dictionaries
   /usr/lib/firefox-4.0/defaults
   /usr/lib/firefox-4.0/components
   /usr/lib/firefox-4.0/chrome

   bonjour,
   j'ai le même problème aujourd'hui, et ni l'une ni l'autre des méthodes ne fonctionne.
   L'install. via get-flash... fonctionne très bien, mais problèmes de chargement flash ensuite sur firefox et midori qui crashe carrément!
   quelqu'un peut m'aider ?
