you need to install specific font for japanese
try wqy-bitmapfont package in slitaz, or search for generic fonts like unifont (http://www.unifoundry.com/unifont.html)

wqy-bitmapfont works fine but for chinese sites only (so finally I can 'see' chinese slitaz subforum).
Also some sites in Polish are not displayed properly - question marks instead of letters.
I noticed many Slitaz users speak Russian - I wonder what packages in Slitaz are responsilble for cyrillic fonts.Unifont - I will investigate later.
Thanx!

mt12345,
please, share link to web site you shooted. I have a big font collection, and I think I can find one for you, well, only if here is font (not html code) issue.
Also, please, tell me, have you glibc-locale package installed?
And yes, I'm Russian, and I see Russian letters in SliTaz menu from first LiveCD boot without any movements from my side.

It's not only about polish and japanese fonts. Id like my system to be able display in all languages:
Example:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Earth
on the left pane under 'languages' at least 20 of them are not displayed properly.
