Something I've not been able to find an answer to. I need videos to play fullscreen which I was able to do on Lubuntu. I have the same files. The application will go fullscreen but no matter how many times I change the aspect ratio the video won't go fullscreen itself although the application is, help please!

good driver for ur video card?
search may be something like that
tazx reconfigurePosted 13 years ago # -
It's better to setup your video card using tazx in terminal - just make sure you're online when you do this. It can make a world of difference in games and movies.
Another thing to note is that mplayer's install is missing an dependency that allows you to pick the faster and better resizing video mode. This has been mentioned before on the old forum, but for the life of me I can't remember the name of the missing package. Some people recommend the front-end smplayer for mplayer because it's more configurable and installs this missing dependency. You could also alternatively use vlc or xine.

VLC for someone reason wouldn't work either but I did try and install smplayer as a kind of last step and it has completely fixed my problem! Thank you very much I'll be able to stick with SliTaz!
