I've tried installing flash a few times now through tazpkg and each time nothing happens.
Can someone point me in the right direction? Or walk me through it?
I'm tired of not having flash in my browser. Thanks.
Also, a little off topic. Right now I'm using Firefox skiretoko?
Does anyone have suggestions for a lightweight browser that would be good for a low resource laptop?
MANY THANKS!

You can install the get-flash-plugin package and then execute it from /home/user. See this post for more info: http://forum.slitaz.org/topic/flash-help?replies=3#post-9053.

Install the get-flash-plugin package in TazPanel Packages and then open a terminal such as sakura and type:
$ su
# get-flash-pluginThen it should be installed.
Personally I love the Midori Webbrowser as it uses a low ammount of resources and has a built in adblock. Furthermore is midori the only webbrowser which used so little resources that I could flawlessly view a youtube clip.

I want to mention that I had to run
tazpkg get-install midori --forced
in order for midori to see flash after installing.Posted 12 years ago #
