I did a search for iptables in tazpanel and only iptables-dev was listed as available. However, I was able to install iptables from command line.
Just curious why iptables is not listed in tazpanel list?

Tazpanel search for pkgs in this file: /var/lib/tazpkg/packages.desc, but the iptables pkg is missing from the list:
tux@slitaz:~$ grep iptables /var/lib/tazpkg/packages.desc
iptables-dev | 1.4.10 | Packet filtering framework (Firewall) - dev files | development | http://www.netfilter.org/
tux@slitaz:~$
A few other pkgs are missing as well:
aufs-20110214_2.6.37
broadcom-wl-5.60.246.2_2.6.37
compcache-0.6.2_2.6.37
linmodem-agrsm-2.1.80~20091225_2.6.37
linmodem-intel-536ep-2.56.76.0_2.6.37
linmodem-intel-537-2.60.80.0_2.6.37
linmodem-slmodem-2.9.11-20100303_2.6.37
ndiswrapper-driver-1.56_2.6.37
nvidia-173xx-173.14.31_2.6.37
v4l-dvb-development_2.6.37
On tank wok-stable packages:
I ran cook pkdb --flavors to regenerate packages.desc
Same missing packages not on the new packages.desc
The tazpkgs not on packages.desc are there.
Cook doesn't see these filenames when it creates the packages.desc
