mutt with SASL support

   On slitaz4 I am using mutt to automatically send documents to my kindle.
   Due to a new ISP the messages now need to be sent with TLS and SASL.
   The mutt version in the repository was compiled without SASL support: (-USE_SASL)

   but I haven't got access to the stable repo: abort: authorization failed?

   Test report:
   Installation went fine, no errors, new version is correctly reported.

   File contents are added to /root/sent but when sending a message, the program exits with the following message: Error sending message, child exited 1 ().

   This error message is displayed on the bottom line (status line) where it previously displayed the SASL error. I can then exit the program with i, q and the message is not sent.

   Solved!
   It turned out I had made a basic mistake while installing the new package:
   Forgotten to save the config file /etc/Muttrc
   Hence the new mutt was using default settings and missing login- and server details for my specific situation.
   Fortunately I was able to recover the old file and I was able to send a message using these settings.
   Paul's message triggered me to verify the configuration and that's when I discovered my mistake.
   Now I am again able to send ebooks to my kindle.

   You have found a bug in the mutt package. The upgrade should not break your configuration files.
