Hi,
I recently bought a cheap wifi adapter off of Amazon and it uses the Realtek RTL8188CUS chipset. I knew it wouldn't work with Linux unless I used drivers from the Realtek website.
It now scans and recognizes my WPA-PSK network, but will not connect. dmesg complains: (will edit in a link to dmesg output and other logs)
Thanks!

Need help configuring 0bda:8178 RTL8188CUS Wifi

usbcore: registered new interface driver rtl8192cu
If that is a kernel module, you will probably need to add firmware drivers to /lib/firmware (as root).
(Wifi isn't my strong point, but on my regular distro, Debian, I nearly always have to add extra firmware to get mine to work.)
