I'm trying to connect this modem on slitaz 4.0 with no luck
I've tried already all methods (sakis3g, wvdial, manual modprobe i usbserial) and still unable to connect,
Is there any other methods to do this?

Hi, I'm not very experienced at USB-modems on slitaz but I bet that you're using one of them modems with a built in memory storage, you'll need a USB-modeswitch or something like that to be able to separate the modem and memory.

Use sakis3g to switch the modem (it's under more options), then try connecting using gnome-ppp with the port sakis3g prepared for you.
Hsoconnect looks interesting. I'll see if I can get it to work ;)
EDIT: Hmmm, seems you need to use the modprobe hso instead of option or usbserial. With Sakis3g this can be changed in /etc/sakis3g.conf - just change the default option to hso and save. Then try using Sakis3g to connect again.

Hi zapijsie,
Please, attach sources here or anywhere else. I can't read that forum, I see error table on pages that you link:
An Error Has Occurred!
Sorry Guest, you are banned from using this forum!
SpammingI HATE ANY IP BLOCKING !!! >:(
Or, can anyone teach me how to use public proxy? ;)

OK. I googled for proxy, used http://proxy.org/ and download these sources.++++++
Attached here two packages. I not sure if all works. I slightly hacked conf file (tazweb as web browser and leafpad as text editor).Do not forget to add your user to dialout group:
# addgroup your_user dialout
But this not helps me to run program under tux user, so please correct me! Line from my /etc/group:
dialout:x:95:tux,root
I run program as root:
# HSOconnect Path to hsolinkcontrol: None Mode None ERROR: hsolinkcontrol not found on $PATH - please install the hsolinkcontrol package ERROR: hsolinkcontrol not configured for execution with sticky bit. TRY: chmod +s
which hsolinkcontrol
as root. Warning: Your user name is not in the dialout group. in ui.run() Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/share/hsoconnect/hsoc/userinterface.py", line 1065, in menuitem_response if languages[ans[1]] == self.str['default_language']: TypeError: list indices must be integers, not NoneType .......
So I think we need hsolinkcontrol too (added converted hsolink...deb to tazpkg)

You don't need reboot your computer. Useful trick I found in the internet:
Reload udev rules without restarting udev
udevadm control --reload-rules
(you need root rights)We have /sbin/udevadm in the package udev.
