Hi
I did installa Debian because I did not found hunspell in SliTaz ;-) , see my parallel messages...
but, hm, Debian did as usual install his grub2 :-(( instead of the proper SliTaz boot installation with the smart SliTaz splash picture a boot time.
An Debian says for SliTaz:
«unknown Linux»
hm, it is not good!
but as it is with grub2 installations in complexe mode, as I rarelly change somewhat, I am not able to change the presetting values correctly (yes, of course, I can enter into /boot/grub/grub.cfg and change the text, but it is a provisal change as all times where Debian will actualize somewhat in kernel etc. it will erase my changes... I find it is a bad solution) as Debian grub installer did discover himself the SliTaz installation (in other case, it is easy to add! but in our case it is not to add but to make right!).
a/ what is to do to restore my boot loader installation as SliTaz did made with the SliTaz-Panel?
b/ is an upgrade with SliTaz to grub2 possible so that ALL definitions in the first installation by SliTaz in /grub/boot/menu.lst will continue to work again (especially the splash picture)
kind regards
