Hi,
What a nice news! Maybe you could start with the main website page so we can have http://www.slitaz.org/se/ ? If you are motivated you can get access to Slitaz Website repos and then commit your work yourself. To start you can also send me pages. More info: http://www.slitaz.org/i18n.php
We can also create a category forum here for Swedish users and a start page on the wiki doc: http://doc.slitaz.org/se:start

Ofc i would be happy to translate the main website first :)

Just an info
I commited a package called locale-sv, it is a locale pack wich provide Swedish translation for all applications found in the core livecd. I'm starting work on extra pack that will provide translation for all popular packages such as Gimp, Abiword, Pidgin, etc.

Hi,
Danish contributor Bo Vagner suggested to have one nordic forum for sv, da and no. What Swedish users/contributors think about that ? I'm asking because I absolutly dont know if you can uderstand your self since in my country we speak 4 languages and we dont understand each other!!!
Posted 13 years ago # -
Hey pankso, It could actually become a problem with understanding eachother or rather missunderstanding, and it allways looks better to have different forums for the different countries, however this doesnt meen we cant work together, but this is just my point of wiev ofc :)
However i will let you decide as you are the big boss :)
And iknow when slitaz is translated, bot website and packages there will come more users automaticly asking lots of questions ;)

Have you ever visited http://www.sslug.dk or http://www.sslug.se . Ok most members are danes! On my last trip to Stockholm, I only had to use english one time (The skin color did not look very nordic). I think it is better to collect meny clever people in one forum, so it can be served proberly, instead of spreading the force.Posted 13 years ago #

Bo i just stated my point of view, and yes i have visited sslug and i for one
think its hard for some to understand some words and frases, im not saying that is me ;)However, im not saying that we shouldnt try and work together , rather i think we should
what we can do is this for example now english forum looks like this:
English Support – SliTaz English users forums
Live and installation – Live CD USB Frugal and HD installation
Hardware – Harware stuff, wifi card, screen
Packages – Application help, package installation et configurationWhat we could do to combine forces is
Scandinavian Support - Slitaz Scandinavian users forums
Swedish - Get help in Swedish
Norwegian - Get help in Norwegian
Danish - Get help in Danish
Finnish - Get help in FinnishWhat do you say about that?
Sincerally
