He-heh...
Hi, Emil!
Unfortunately, Martin Svensson AKA Ztealmax, who is started this topic, is no longer a member of SliTaz community. He even deleted his account.Emil, are YOU interested in this translation? You can translate it just for yourself, for your pleasure. And, when you share your work, people say you Thanks ;)
So, what?Posted 12 years ago # -
I have started translating the system. (no need for the website as 99% of the population understand english) Who would I send my PO files to? Btw, am I supposed to use PO edit for the translation and may I test my translation before I post it as Swedish has some tricky grammars.Posted 12 years ago #

Hi, Emil!
I think the best way if you just attached your translations here, in the any forum post (in this or other topic) at your discretion. This is more easy to me to download this file rather to download it from any filehostings like RapidShare of even GoogleDocs. It's only a bit tricky to rename your file to have ability to attach. You can rename it like 'tazpanel-sv.po.txt'.
Then me, or any other developer will push your translation to the appropriate Hg repo.
Have you a problems with using Poedit?
You may notice that each time you save your file, Poedit also creates a compiled version — mo file. Just copy it to /usr/share/locale/sv/LC_MESSAGES/ (or maybe /usr/share/locale/sv_SE/LC_MESSAGES ? Let me know what is right!)
PS: Oh, I forget to say. Rename your 'sv.mo' with the name that have your '.pot' file. If you have 'tazpanel.pot' then rename your 'sv.mo' to 'tazpanel.mo'. And then copy or move it to locale dir, as explained above.

I had one trouble with PO edit as it couldn't understand the "Plural" form in the .pot but I edited that part manually with Leafpad so it should proabibly work but not with the MO file. (tazpkg-web.pot: search.sh 748 has a msgid_plural wich I think messes with PO edit, try splitting it perhaps?) I never recieved any sv.mo, I'm not sure if I'm plain stupid but I don't really know where to obtain one... The .mo files where named exactly like the .pot execpt for the file ending. The following translations are currently finnished: Pizza, Base, Boxes, Tools, Tazbox, TazPanel, Tazpkg-web.Posted 12 years ago #

Oh, and I think sv_SE but I guess both works. I'm going for Sv though. And I didn't manage to upload the PO files...Posted 12 years ago #

I think, this receipt have no troubles:
1. Make new folder, put your 'pot' file here.
2. Open Terminal here (in PCManFM just press F4).
3. If you set up your locale correct, then enter command
msginit
otherwise enter command
msginit -l sv
4. You will be prompted to check your e-mail, just press Enter. Wait while program fetch some info from internet. Done!
5. Now open your brand new 'po' file with Poedit. Go menu 'Edit → Preferences'. Check that you entered Your name and mail, and have check some checkboxes like I have:
Anyway, you can correct your old files with text editor. Correct plural formula for Svenska is:
"Plural-Forms: nplurals=2; plural=(n != 1);\n"
Andmsginit
insert it automatically. And I didn't manage to upload the PO files...
Have you seen my post above? I've wrote:

Or, maybe, regular forum members have no ability to attach 'txt' files? Sorry, I don't know, I'm not a regular member.
At the end of this forum page I can see:allowed uploads: bmp (500 KB), doc (500 KB), gif (500 KB), gz (500 KB), jpeg (500 KB),
jpg (500 KB), pdf (500 KB), png (500 KB), txt (500 KB), xls (500 KB), zip (500 KB), tazpkg (500 KB)You can pack all your files to 'tar.gz' or 'zip' archive and attach here.

Strange :/
Please, go here: http://forum.slitaz.org/topic/swedish-translation/page/2
I don't like SCN forums and prefere standard forum.
Next, in pictures.1) Emil! Do you see «Choose File» buttons?
2) Press it and select your file.
4) If you want to upload more files, press second button «Choose File». If you need even more, press «[+] more» link — it produces two more buttons «Choose File».
5) Now, write your message and press button «Send Post» on the right. Done!
Please, not forget to write message! ;)Posted 12 years ago # -
Aah, the problem may have been the SCN forums, I've only been trying from them.
I'm trying again now from the link you sent.Edit: It didn't work. Perhaps it was some Midori troubles, I'm going to try from my parents Windows PC soon.
