Hello everyone,
Improvement request? Bug? Anyway, I wanted to post this since I regularly use slitaz. Basically, installing testdisk through tazpanel does not enable support for the NTFS filesystem by default.
If you install and run testdisk then select a Windows drive through testdisk, there is a 'P' option to list files from NTFS partitions. This results in the error:
"Support for this filesystem hasn't been enabled during compilation."
To enable NTFS support in testdisk, you must compile testdisk to include ntfsprogs. From what I can tell slitaz already comes with ntfsprogs installed. So, if it's already installed why not just enable it? NTFS is a common filesystem, so can it just be enabled please? It can't hurt. Anyone else agree?
Thanks!
