I don't know. But, maybe it helps:

Only it's broken in the latest Flash player version - rather use my package @ http://www.trixarian.net/downloads/flash-plugin.tazpkg - it includes the actual file rather than act as a downloader script.
thanks everybody.
trixar's solution works.
so, the latest version is broken, and I had been working for hours without knowing.

Support for Slitaz-3.0 has ended.
The software in the 3.0 repo is no longer being fixed or upgraded.
The get-flash-plugin installer script in the Slitaz-3.0 repo is broken.
Slitaz-4.0 get-flash-plugin script works in Slitaz-3.0

I was able to download the flash that Trizar_za indicates. It is in my root directory, but the Package Manager does not see it. Should I move it to a specific directory? Or, what should I do with it? Please help. tnx
In SliTaz 4 just double click the package to bring up the installer.
I assume you mean to enter the /root directory with Package Manager. But I do not see a way to go to the /root directory. I can, of course, enter /root with sakura, but no way to "click it." I can "enter" with Firefox, but if I click it, I only get a window asking me if I want to save it. So, I am still lost. I am sorry I sound so stupid (and I feel so) asking very basic questions, but after 12 years using SuSE, I am lost here. Guidance appreciated.
Earlier I was working on a program. I created a very elborated piece of code to fix a bug. Took me 3 hours to work out, but it wasn't perfect. Then I realized I could do the same thing with a simple bool variable check.
The point of this story? Stop complicating it for yourself. Just download the package and then double click on it. In SliTaz 4 this brings up the Installer and even handles root access using subox.
With SliTaz 3 you just use use the terminal command tazpkg install /path/to/pkg.tazpkg to install it.
There is no need to copy it anywhere special.
I finally figured it out that with "PCMan filemanager" I was able to click on the downloaded get-flash-plugin (1.2). The installer appeared and installed it. However, I cannot view videos on Firefox. Actually, it does not even appear in the plugins list. I do not think I missed anything. Did I?
@LocoMotor101
get-flash-plugin-1.2.tazpkg installs the get-flash-plugin script
To complete the process you execute the get-flash-plugin script as root from terminal while connected to the internet.
Open terminal
type
su
hit Enter key
Computer responds with
password:
type
root
hit Enter key
type
get-flash-plugin
hit Enter key

The 'get' Packages => http://doc.slitaz.org/en:handbook:packages
You downloaded the get-flash-plugin by the link mojo provided and not my package @ http://www.trixarian.net/downloads/flash-plugin.tazpkg.
The difference? The one mojo provided is a downloader script that fetches the (intentionally broken) flash plugin by adobe. Mine is the actual file. You can tell because my package is 4,7MB to download compared just a few kb of the downloader script.
Mine was tested by me and several other people with Chrome, Firefox and Opera to ensure it works.
Mojo: Please stop telling users to use the broken meta-package. It causes confusion like this. We need to start packaging the working file because adobe is intentionally dropping support for all browsers except Chrome.
FINALLY! Thanks for the clarification. It finally worked. I was not able to enter into my bank but I just realized that probably I need java for that, not flash. So, I tried youtube and it worked. Perfect. If I may, I would suggest including the "good" flash directly into the Slitaz repositories. That would make the whole thing much easier for me and for you. I greatly appreciate your help. Loving Slitaz so far. Cheers!
