See http://forum.slitaz.org/topic/how-do-i-install-latest-firefox?replies=2#post-39769 for the way to find Flash. Note that the last version supplied and supported by Adobe on Linux is 11.2.
So after I installed Firefox flash was working for a bit and now it's not.Like on youtube flash was working but now it's back to the HTML5 player which is relly slow and I hate that I can't lower the res.

Really weird. Something must have changed. Try with a fresh user profile.

I think youtube is a mess and should not be used for testing. I'd rather go to a flash-games site.
P.-S.: maybe you can disable the video plugin in FF to prevent running the HTML5 player? Or a setting in about:config?
noob question:fresh user profile?do you mean a new slitaz account?
Ok,so I went to armorgames.com,got distracted for approx 1hr 30mins playing Kingdom Rush and flash seems to be working.
Disabling plugins doesn't work and I go to about:config then panic "What is all this!!!".

LOL you just have to ask google how to enable flash on youtube.
fresh user profile?
Oh, sorry. I forgot this feature is hidden in FF (unlike Seamonkey). In a terminal, type
firefox --ProfileManager
then add a profile and start with it.
A new profile has default settings, this helps find out if the problem lies in a configuration choice of the user.

:-D Good news!
about:config then panic "What is all this!!!"
It's a hacker's lair!
Seriously. Type in the search box, this will filter some items in the list. E.g. if I type "video" I get around 20 items, among which "media.navigator.video.enabled"; maybe toggling it will do what you want? It's a game of trial and error... or ask your favorite web search engine. Do this with your brand new test profile, not the regular one!
Well never mind because I just had to go here http://www.youtube.com/html5 and fiddle with some settings but it still would be nice to know about this profile stuff. Also If I type firefox--ProfileManager it says :
sh: firefox: not found
Oh, sorry again:
firefox-official --ProfileManager
Please mark the thread as solved.
Yeah I forgot to mark it as solved, sorry.Anyways it just opened a new window???I'm really sorry there's probably something obvious I'm not noticing here.
Mmmh, here https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-and-remove-firefox-profiles#w_starting-the-profile-manager they don't use double-dash, try this maybe. Also note what they say: all FF windows must be closed. If this doesn't work you should at least get an error or warning in the terminal...
Well it worked,I've made a test profile and seems it doesn't matter if you put single or double-dashes.
You must log in to post.
